WHAT'S THE STORY?
​Honey Bones Co. was born out of a desire to return to Wisdom and a Call to Create. Our Co-Founder, and creator, Katrina, was helping others heal through the field of Social Work when she began to study Permaculture and Herbalism.
Through her studies, she uncovered the Wisdom of plants and fell in love with their Creator.

HOWEVER, WE NEED TO BACK UP AND START WHERE THE STORY BEGAN- AT THE CREATION OF THIS BEAUTIFUL PLANET, WHICH NOW EXISTS AS A DICHOTOMY BETWEEN WISDOM AND OUR WILLFUL IGNORANCE OF IT.

In our planet's most perfect state, seed-bearing plants were abundant and GOOD! Plants were created and provided for us by our Creator for nutrition + healing. We were made in the image of our Creator as temples for and plants are one of the essential provisions for us!
Unfortunately, we became poor Stewards of life- of both our bodies and our planet. The masses became selfish, ignorant + foolish. This folly and the love of money significantly clouded mankind's ability to grow + provide our families and neighbors with healthy food + medicine for our bodies.
Farming practices contaminated our soil with pesticides, processed food became a norm, and chemicals began to permeate modern medicine and bodycare, and our homes. These pesticides, carcinogens, and toxins began to fill the shelves of our grocery stores, our homes, and our bodies.

BUT THERE IS HOPE BECAUSE WE HAVE THE FREEDOM TO CHOOSE WHAT IS GOOD. WE CAN TURN FROM THE WRONG RELATIONSHIP AND CHOOSE FOR OURSELVES + OUR COMMUNITIES TO BE TRANSFORMED INTO THE RIGHT RELATIONSHIP AGAIN.

Despite the attempts to destroy Wisdom, there have been warriors that have preserved, persevered + passed on the ancient Wisdom of how we can Be Transformed!

We would not be able to create for you without the knowledge + bravery of others before us. We are grateful for all people who have cultivated and passed down plant knowledge, even when it came with consequence.
ACCESSIBILITY
As caretakers of our community, we provide paying customers with products and distribute protective + nourishing products to Neighbors in Need who have a harder time accessing bodycare products.
SUSTAINABILITY
We source our plants locally and ethically + use recycled packaging to be responsible stewards of our shared environment. We are committed to making the least negative impact on our environment.
SAFETY
We are committed to only using naturally occurring ingredients that are safe and nourishing for your body. We research each ingredient we use to ensure it will bring healing.
